“Until you figure out who burned you, you’re not going anywhere”. The USA Network and Michael Westen hasn’t a clue to who actually burned him yet, so Burn Notice isn’t going anywhere but staying FOR ANOTHER 2 SEASONS!!! The network gave the green light to Seasons Five and Six (right before even airing Season 4). USA Network’s president of original programming, Jeff Wachtel told Daily Variety “Once Saturday Night Live makes fun of you, how can you not commit to extra seasons?” (referring to a hilarious skit created by SNL in which game show contestants were quizzed on Burn Notice).
Brace yourselves…..Network executives say seasons five and six will run a minimum of 15 and 18 episodes, respectively. Season four is shooting in Miami and season five will begin production in about a year. Additionally, USA has also recieved off-cable rights to the hit meaning that Burn Notice will begin showing its daily reruns October 2011.
